How to dance?

Glorify, Worship, Grace, Hope, Faith, Love, Exalt, Holy, Righteous, Refuge, Ever Present Help, Friend, King, Lover, Jesus.
So many powerful words float around the "Christian World." And to be frank, even though my name is Adam, that is all those "powerful" words do...they float and do nothing. They have become words we say in passing; words we pray because they sound good; words that have lost recognition of their testimony (I'm not sure if that last line was communicated clearly).
What I'm trying to say is there is so much weight and substance to these words that we must not continue to make the kingdom about talk...but of power. (1 Cor 4:12)
I mustn't make His Kingdom void of power, void of experience, void of substance, void of truth. You know? I know it isn't us who heals the sick, raises the dead, restores all creation, but we must contend for it...right? I mean He asked us to do those things. (Mk 16) I don't know. If it truly is a "co-mission" then it takes two to tango...right? So, if the other isn't willing to dance - if I am not willing to dance, than the mission is void of...whatever - power, experience, substance, and so-on.

I write all of this to say, don't give up in contending, in fighting for what God has promised. Don't give into fear...give into faith. Don't give into self...give into Love. Don't give into the world Adam, give into Jesus.

So, how do we dance? Well, we start with a prayer, but it must be from our hearts...

Jesus,
Teach me how. How to make your kingdom about power.'Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will exalt you.' (psalm 86:11) I have nothing else worth exalting tonight, in this moment, just You. This is true of my heart...right now. I love you. I need you. I want you. Please Lord...
